Zombom says, "I've been expecting you for some time. But now, you will die!"

Zombom is a boss from NeoQuest II. He is the second boss of the first chapter, Meridell, and the first magic-wielding boss encountered. He is fought atop the fourth floor of the Mysterious Tower on a small isle off the coast of Meridell.

Biography Edit

Zombom emits a mighty roar of pain, and falls to one knee. "I never... never should have..." he gasps. "Adelan... I betrayed... my master... unhappy about this... aghh..."

Little of Zombom is known, although he reveals a connection to Adelan, the man who trained Zombom, who was living in White River. Adelan suspects the only master Zombom could be serving would be Ramtor, although he states he "can't imagine why he'd want the bridge frozen up."

Skills Edit

Zombom is an Elephante species wizard. He casts spells with his own wand, and his abilities are akin to Mipsy's Direct Damage and Group Haste and Velm's Healing.

Battle Edit

Zombom is considered a very difficult battle, owing to the nature of his devastating attacks and Rohane fighting alone. A common recommendation is to purchase damage potions from the town of White River and use only them in the fight. Most players fight strenuously to build up a healing potion supply because of Zombom's Decimate. Several players also spend points in Rohane's Innate Melee Haste in order to not fall behind when Zombom casts Zeal.

Speeches Edit

Opening Edit

Zombom says, "I've been expecting you for some time. But now, you will die!"

Player flee Edit

Zombom shouts after you, "This tower is under my control, fool! You shall not escape!"

Player defeat Edit

Zombom cackles. "Heh heh. Just as I planned. Goodbye, you fool," he says, as you black out.

Player victory Edit

Zombom emits a mighty roar of pain, and falls to one knee. "I never... never should have..." he gasps. "Adelan... I betrayed... my master... unhappy about this... aghh..." He slumps to the ground, dead. All around you, skeleton warriors crumble into dust, and the ghostly spirits evaporate away. The tower is still ruined, but it is no longer haunted. Behind where Zombom lies, you see a magical teleporter.
